Attendance at the POGIL National Meeting is by application.  

Who Should Apply?

The PNM is a meeting intended for experienced POGIL practitioners to work on projects related to the Strategic Plan goals.  While our plenary speakers and workshop roll-out sessions offer some professional development to participants, the PNM is NOT a meeting where novices learn how to use POGIL in their classroom.  

The typical PNM participant has already attended a more advanced workshop, has implemented POGIL in their classroom and has some familiarity with the Strategic Plan.  Most attendees have participated in previous PNM's but we seek out first-time attendees as well to bring in fresh ideas and perspective.

Application Timeline

• Mid-October ~ The call for applications is sent out to our database of POGIL users and is also available on our website..
• Mid-November ~ Application deadline
• Mid-December ~ Applicants are notified of an acceptance decision.
• Mid-January ~ Registration deadline for accepted applicants.
